John J. O'Conner
Donald
John joined the board in April of 2007 and was elected Chairman and special adviser at that time. He was previously a Vice Chairman at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he had responsibility for their lines of service, marketing and operations. He spent 33 years at PwC and had previously served as the head of the US audit practice and managing partner of the Boston office. He lead the development of PwC’s Health Industries practice a leading provider of services to the healthcare industry. He serves on the board of Aspect Medical Solutions and is a Trustee at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Donald
Emery
Donald
Emery was also an executive at Software 2000/Infinium.
He was the Vice-Chairman of the Board and early investor
in the company. Sandwiched around a ten year career on
Wall Street as an investment banker, the majority of
his professional career has been spent as an entrepreneur.
Don is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business
School and his forte is corporate finance and business
strategy. He has been an entrepreneur and private investor
in startups for more than thirty years, beginning with
the startup of importer-retailer Pier One Imports, a
New York Stock Exchange Company.
Ted Theodores
In
1998, Ted retired from EG&G, Inc. as Vice President,
Corporate Business Development and Mergers and Acquisitions.
His function included the search, evaluation, negotiation,
and structuring of strategic partnerships, acquisitions,
divestitures and venture capital investments. His business
development responsibilities included participation in
the management of major competitive-bid government facilities
service contracts such as the Kennedy Space Center. He
has served on several high-technology corporate Boards
and since his retirement has continued to provide business
development consulting services. He is currently a Director
on three other corporate Boards and is Director of Development
and enthusiastic participant in the art-related activities
of the Cape Cod Art Association.
John M. Sloane
John
Sloane was the technical visionary and co-founder of
Software 2000-Infinium Software in Hyannis, MA. John
is a native of Belfast, Ireland and graduated from the
Queens University of Belfast, with a BS degree in Economics
in 1971, from Bristol University, (Bristol, U.K.) in
1973, with a postgraduate Dip. Ed. in mathematics, and
from Boston University with an MS in Computer Science
in 1987. After leaving Infinium, John has been a managing
director in the Clarence Funds, an early stage venture
capital fund.
Michael
Benoit
Michael
brings a technical background to mTuitive with degrees
in both Instrumentation/Process Control and Electrical
Engineering. He started out as a digital hardware designer
in data communications but quickly moved on to technical
software development. In the early 80's he founded New
England based Vista High Tech Resources which was acquired
in 1998 by DPRC/Compuware. Since that time he has participated
as an Angel investor, early Board Member and Technical
Advisor. The highlight of his young angel investor
career is highlighted by the acquisition of Angiolink,
Inc. by Medtronic in 2004 for $84 million.
Hal
Weiner
Hal
has over 40 years experience in the worldwide healthcare
information systems field including sales,
marketing, development, consulting, implementation, and
strategic planning. He has an extensive knowledge of
the healthcare informatics market including hardware,
software, product requirements, and healthcare and laboratory
information systems vendors.
He was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Advanced
Laboratory
Systems, Inc.,
and Director of Product Marketing for HBOC. He is currently
the President of Weiner Consulting Services, which he founded
in 1998. He writes the monthly Newsbytes column for CAP Today
and is a speaker at healthcare conferences and symposiums.
