Testimonials

"The mTuitive program has been a valuable tool added to our pathology practice. It allows us to report on cancer parameters in the most up to date and standardized way, which in turn helps facilitate appropriate patient management and foster a team-based approach to cancer care."
Dr. Joseph Wasielewski, Chief of Pathology and Medical Director of the TBRHSC lab
"The mTuitive program is simple to use and adds comprehensive value to our reports. AJCC inspector was quite impressed with our computer linked reporting system."
Dr. Paul Cook, Phelps County Regional Medical Center
"This has been the easiest MEDITECH interface implementation that I have done to date, and I have done many."
Peter Cox, Clinical Applications Analyst at Sudbury
"I signed out a radical prostatectomy case today myself and it was a breeze. It was easier for me to do it myself than to dictate and it made me more efficient."
Dr. Ricky Johnson, Southeastern Regional Medical Center
"I am happy to write about mTuitive’s xPert for Pathology product because I believe that it is an excellent one…In addition, the mTuitive Support team is extremely responsive and courteous. I will be happy to speak to anyone who may want to talk to me or my colleagues about our experience with mTuitive."
Ramon Blanco, MD, FCAP, Chief of Pathology at Falmouth (MA) Hospital
"Our pathology group serves four hospitals with a combined surgical pathology load of about 30,000 specimens annually. With such a load and with the new requirements to comply with College of American Pathologists’ Cancer Protocols for surgical pathology reporting, mTuitive’s xPert for Pathology is just what we needed."
Ramon Blanco, MD, FCAP, Chief of Pathology at Falmouth (MA) Hospital
"I have had the opportunity to view other synoptic tools and find that the mTuitive model is by far superior in its ease of use and the fact that the output is displayed for the user in one window."
Dr. Mahmoud Khalifa, MD, PhD, FRCPC, Interim Chief of Anatomic Pathology at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Professor at University of Toronto

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

mTuitive Congratulates Integrated Hospital Laboratories Service of Windsor-Essex and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre

mTuitive Users Win 2nd & 3rd prizes for ImagineNation Outcomes Challenge Trailblazer Awards

Boston, MA - mTuitive, Inc. congratulates two of its customers - Integrated Hospital Laboratories (IHL) Service of Windsor-Essex and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre - on winning 2nd and 3rd place, respectively, in the Trailblazer Award for the ImagineNation Outcomes Challenge in the area of Clinical Synoptic Reporting. It was announced today by the Challenge's sponsor, Canada Health Infoway, that the two sites were awarded prizes and funds for their Trailblazer Plans outlining how they plan on implementing, integrating and expanding clinical synoptic reporting at their facilities.

IHL Service of Windsor-Essex is located in Windsor, ON while Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is in Toronto, ON. Both sites currently use mTuitive's xPert for Pathology to capture structured data for their cancer pathology cases while adhering to industry and national standards for synoptic reporting. Sunnybrook also uses mTuitive's Agile Author to create their own customized synoptic reporting solutions. Not only does the award provide recognition of all of the hard work and dedication IHL Service of Windsor-Essex and Sunnybrook have shown to excellent synoptic reporting, but it also comes with a prize of $20,000 and $10,000 for each of the sites, respectively.

"We are very excited about finishing second in the Clinical Synoptic Reporting category for the Trailblazer awards," a representative of IHL Service of Windsor-Essex stated. "Working with mTuitive has not only been professionally rewarding but has also proved to be financially rewarding too. We look forward to continuing to promote our solution using mTuitive software."

The ImagineNation Outcomes Challenge aims to "accelerate the use and spread of innovative solutions in health care information and communication technologies...with the potential to improve health care quality and the patient experience in Canada." Health providers are encouraged to sign up for the outcomes challenge by filling out a short application and submitting a brief video detailing the method used to conform to synoptic reporting standards.

There are subsequent awards handed out throughout the two year process. Sites need only fill out the application and monitor usage of the solutions - the more people use the reporting solution, the more likely the sites are to receive the awards. And for those sites already using an mTuitive solution, expanding the number of users or adopting other mTuitive synoptic reporting solutions (like our Gross pathology, Dx pathology or OpNote products) will also help them potentially win the award. Registration is still open and sites are still able to participate in the challenge and possibly win awards and recognition for their synoptic reporting.

Please note: mTuitive will not directly participate in the financial awards provided by the program. mTuitive is not associated with ImagineNation Challenges or with Canada Health Infoway.

Congratulations again to IHL Service of Windsor-Essex and Sunnybrook for their well-earned victories and recognition!
