Testimonials

"Surgeons need to know how important it is to collect data this way. You're not just dictating your operative report so you have something in the hospital chart – everybody’s looking at this stuff now. OpNote is how the surgical report should be created."
Deanna Attai, MD
"After a short learning curve, surgeons will find that SourcePlus OpNote is faster than dictating and far less onerous for surgeons as the repetition present in 90% of operative reports is eliminated. We now produce superior operative reports while generating additional revenue."
John Mattson, MD
"I have been able to use your program for my operative notes and so far it has been spectacular...some of my OpNotes have taken as little as 15 seconds to change one or two fields and sign out!"
David Grischkan, MD
"Surgeons are such an individual breed - but because mTuitive put this “individuality” into OpNote, where physicians can express themselves in their own words while retaining the structured data, I became convinced that this is the way to go."
H. Walter Kaess, MD
"I saw the immediate value in OpNote – in terms of the efficiency that it created for physicians, the accuracy in documentation, the ability to search and report. And to expand on the accuracy in reporting: it’s not just accuracy in the details but the accuracy in coding, which then turns into quicker and improved reimbursement assistance."
Seth Goldberg, MD
"Beyond the cost savings on a per procedure basis, the real benefit is the tremendous improvement in cash flow resulting from a more rapid billing process that is driven by a much quicker operative report process. Nothing in my experience has made such a significant, positive impact in cash flow as mTuitive's program for operative notes"
David Grischkan, MD
"I like the idea of being able to create an operative report that is complete and comprehensive in a very rapid and efficient way. I review a number of medical legal reports, both for the medical association and for various attorneys, and have been struck by the disorganization and deficiencies of non-standardized dictations. OpNote has made it easy to create a complete, standardized report generated in a rapid and intuitive manner."
John Mattson, MD
"Medical practices require a special employee to review all these reports and codes – and that’s just not cost or time effective. The delay in getting the operative reports was something we noticed – this new system will eliminate those delays."
Roger Chabra, MD
"Our physician partners are now able to complete operative notes and sign them online in a seamless, effortless manner, in a fraction of the time compared to verbal dictation. No longer do we need to chase after surgeons to complete an operative report or sign a dictation weeks after the procedure."
David Grischkan, MD

OpNote Update 08.05.11

We are continuously updating mTuitive OpNote, with a 2-4 week turnaround schedule for each new batch. We work with our users and customers to identify new features to add to our program and any necessary changes to existing features that will make OpNote run better and easier. After we publish a batch of changes, we'll post the details here on our blog to highlight the ever evolving, constantly improving nature of OpNote:
  • "Print To..." buttons

    • On the "Sign Out" screen there are 3 new options of what to do with the report:
    • Download the standard PDF and automatically select the appropriate driver for printing, faxing, or virtual print-to-EMR functionality

  • SPEED
    • Faster "new report" creation - increased speed by 50%.
    • Many database queries are completely rewritten for optimum speed, leading to huge gains on administrative list screens like dashboard, schedule, to do, etc.
    • AJAX architecture expanded throughout product, requiring only partial page loads instead of full page refreshes for most screens
    • Improved caching of common resources like css files, images, and other static content

  • Redesigned Defaults screen

    • Grid layout now includes the date your default was created
    • It's now easier to edit, duplicate, rename and delete defaults using the provided buttons.
    • Ability to duplicate defaults makes it easier for surgeons to create multiple versions of a single default note - allowing for the minor tweaks that result in different approaches or other small variables.

  • Cancel Appointments

    • When a surgeon does not want a to-do item in their queue for whatever reason, they can click "Cancel" to clear it out. Admins can also do this.

  • Schedule, To-Do, Attention and Signed Out Screens

    • for surgeons, includes filter by date and more user-friendly "load more" style pagination

    • for admins, includes filter by surgeon, as well as filter by date and more user-friendly "load more" style pagination
    • makes it easy for an admin to find all of a particular surgeon's reports for April, for example

  • Date of Surgery
    • no longer defaults to today's date, but uses the date in the schedule (unless you are doing a report without an appointment)

  • New Report without an Appointment

    • customers can start a report without an appointment directly from the dashboard

  • Amendments by office staff
    • Administrators and clerks can initiate amendments on surgeon's reports to make changes for them.
    • Surgeon must sign out the report again to confirm changes.

  • Usage Reports

    • Admins can run a report for a time period they specify that shows how many opnotes were done and how many defaults created for each user

  • Convert unregistered users

    • Physician info that comes over the interface often refers to doctors who are not yet users in OpNote.
    • The unregistered screen shows a list of these doctors and makes it easy for an admin to convert them over to a real user with a login
    • Any scheduled procedures that have accumulated in the interim are maintained
