A company with cutting-edge data capture and reporting platforms for healthcare professionals is seeking a Strategic Alliance Manager! Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is intended for someone who is self-motivated, relationship-oriented, and has aspirations towards senior leadership in technology enterprises in the future.


You will work directly with an exciting variety of partners to establish an environment where

mTuitive solutions are easy to adopt, immensely valuable to end customers, and beneficial to patients. Interoperability between vendor systems is a popular buzzword in health care, and for good reason. Standards and requirements are established or influenced by professional organizations and industry thought leaders. Newly available technologies like digital pathology, artificial intelligence algorithms, prognostic and predictive molecular testing in medicine, and personalized medicine all benefit from data captured in our solutions. Forming viable relationships with players from each of these categories and making them work together will be challenging and require creativity and strategic thinking.


This is a role where you will have visibility for all aspects of the organization and you will have

an influence on determining the direction of the company and satisfaction of our customers

and market.


Position Responsibilities

  • Observe and study market trends to identify strategic partnership targets with company leadership

  • Cooperate with sales and support teams to engage with customers to establish priorities for improving relationships with our customers

  • Proactively find and prioritize product relationships with the product and development teams

  • Structure and negotiate win-win relationships with all of our collaborative partners

  • Manage and execute on strategies and partnership implementation plans

  • Measure and review the value of partnerships as they are structured and after they are implemented

  • Provide feedback to management concerning information gleaned from partnerships and customers about reactions to our offerings, perceptions of the market and trends observed such as buying patterns


Requirements

  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

  • Experience in developing multifaceted, win-win relationships with common goals and shared responsibilities 

  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

  • Willingness to travel and present at key tradeshows with alliance partners

  • Capacity to develop deep familiarity with complex subject matter in healthcare

  • Experience in healthcare or similarly challenging field

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to fill the top of the funnel and achieve sales targets and expand our customer base

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

  • Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets

  • Identify industry trends, market activities, and competitors

  • Prepare reports on account status, transaction sales, and forecasts

  • Partner with Marketing to refine materials and execute targeted campaigns

  • Cooperate with Implementation, Support, and Product to ensure excellent customer experience

  • Work with resellers and partners to develop high leverage sales channels


Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets

  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

  • Willingness to spend time building relationships via phone (2 hours/day)

  • Salesforce/CRM experience

  • Healthcare technology sales experience a plus

  • Capacity to develop deep familiarity with complex subject matter in healthcare

  • Experience in healthcare or similarly challenging field
